Content in the course

Article 2VKU- Course (Transport education) is in four parts&nbsp.of eachtwo hourssubdivided. Therefore, VKU either as R&Nbsp;two-day course&nbsp. or to&nbsp.four consecutive daysand are carried out. With us, the course will always be at two days&nbsp., which means that each teaching blockfour hours&nbsp. In VKU expect the following content:

First part: traffic

  • The course begins with the Development of transport. We discuss important prerequisites and tips to facilitate seeing in traffic. We treat the following points:
    1. Road Transport Perception: How do we perceive our environment and how does this affect our security?
    2. Visual attention: What visual information is particularly relevant in traffic?
    3. Field of vision and visual techniques: How do we use our field of vision optimally and what visual techniques help us?
Second part: Transport environment

In this second double section we will deal with everything that is happening around the car. This includes:

  1. Other persons: We will investigate interaction with other road users. This includes pedestrians, cyclists, other drivers and how we can safely operate with them.
  2. Weather conditions: We will discuss the effects of weather and visibility on car driving. Rain, fog, snow and sunshine affect our driving safety.
  3. Road transport: This is about the state of the road surface, traffic signs, traffic lights and other transport infrastructures. How can we adapt to different road conditions?
Second day: driving physics and vehicle maintenance

On the second day of VKU- We will take a course with the R Driving physics  and the fund;Vehicle maintenanceEmployment. Here are the topics we will deal with:

  1. Forces in driving:
    • We will examine the various forces that act on a vehicle. This includes:
      • Force of inertia: How does inertia influence driving behavior?
      • Friction force: What role does friction play between tires and road?
      • Centripetal force: How does this force work in curves?
      • Weight: Why is the weight of the vehicle important?
  2. Vehicle maintenance:
    • We will talk about how to keep a vehicle in good condition. This includes:
      • Regular maintenance: Which parts of the car need to be regularly checked and maintained?
      • Oil change and liquids: Why are these important?
      • tyre maintenance: How do the tires influence the driving safety?
      • Brakes and lighting: What role do they play in car maintenance?
Fourth part: Traffic tactics

the following:Transport tactics  hide all strategies that serve to achieve the goal safely and efficiently. In this part of VKUWe will deal with the following aspects:

  1. Route planning: How to choose the optimal route? What factors influence the choice of roads and paths?
  2. Traffic behaviour: What behaviour contributes to safety? How can one behave according to the situation?
  3. Stress management: How to deal with stress and pressure in road transport? What techniques help to stay calm and concentrated?
  4. Environmentally conscious driving: How to drive environmentally friendly and reduce fuel consumption?
