If priority, lane choice or observation are still unstable in town, there is too little reserve on the motorway. Motorway lessons should expand existing competence, not hide basic problems.
Merging starts before the acceleration lane
You observe gaps early, accelerate decisively, maintain awareness through mirrors and shoulder check, and decide clearly. Hesitating at the end of the lane is more dangerous than a well-prepared dynamic lane change.
Distance is your safety account
At high speed every small observation error becomes costly. Train a conscious two-second gap, more in rain, darkness, dense traffic or behind heavy vehicles.
Exiting needs early planning
Many errors happen at exits: moving right too late, braking too late or forgetting following traffic. Good exits start with reading direction signs and making a calm lane change.
