DriveLab is the first climate-neutral driving school in Switzerland
At DriveLab, climate protection is right at the top of the agenda. So that we could become climate neutral, all possible measures were first examined to prevent emissions. At this point, only battery electric vehicles are used at DriveLab. While these first pollute the environment more during the production of the battery, after a short period of time, combustion cars surpass the climate footprint. The current mix of the electricity is very important for the carbon footprint. Thanks to 60% hydropower, the Swiss electricity mix is one of the cleanest in Europe. The graphic below shows that even in Germany, greenhouse gases are reduced by more than half.
Now there are still significant greenhouse gases in an electric car too. In order to make DriveLab climate-neutral, we brought myclimate on board. Their “climate-neutral company” label ensures that all greenhouse gases are recorded, verified and offset. This goes far beyond the emissions on the road.
